High School Youth Ministry and Confirmation Preparation

High School students are called on a Mission to draw closer to Christ so they can rise to the call of loving God and loving others. We are taking our teens into the heart of the Gospel by engaging them in prayer, faith formation, social justice, service, and fellowship.

 Why should teens join our Youth Ministry?

• It’s for all high school students. Bring your friends!

• We are building the young church.

• •Youth Ministry is an integral part of preparing for the sacrament of Confirmation.

• We are building a social network.

• Most of all we are getting to know the love and mercy of God!

Youth Ministry and Confirmation preparation classes meet weekly. Confirmation preparation requires two years of faith formation and the Bishop seals our prepared candidates with the Spirit in odd numbered years.

 Youth Ministry meets Saturdays at 2:00 PM during the summer and Wednesday evenings at 7:00 PM during the school year.

Youth Ministry and Confirmation Preparation

PERMISSION & RELEASE AGREEMENT FOR MINOR PARTICIPANT

All minor youth are required by the Archdiocese of Baltimore to have the following documents signed by their legal parent or guardian before participating in Parish events. You will only need to complete these forms once for your child’s participation in youth group for the program year! The only additional forms may be for off-site activities or permission to transport your child to an off-site activity. Such forms will be provided to the participants if such an occasion may arise.
