Registering into a parish is an important step when your family members are starting the process of receiving the Sacraments of Baptism, First Eucharist, Confirmation and Marriage. Being a registered parishioner is also a requirement for those wishing to be a godparent for Baptism or a Confirmation sponsor.
Being a registered parishioner of a Parish gives one the identity of belonging to a family, a family in faith as we all come together as one community. "One body in Christ" - (Romans 12:5) reminds us that in times of joy and in struggles, we can all feel the comfort of having the support of our parish family.
