Christ calls us to love our neighbor. Our family is our closest neighbor and we are called to love them as Christ loves us. The Christian ideal of loving God and neighbor is not an easy calling. This is where the Holy Spirit helps us. The Holy Spirit gives us the power to love as God loves.
